PAYMENT
Where can I find the rates of an area?
For on-street parking lots, rates are written on the vertical signs, in the display of the parking meter or in the supplementary information in its surface. Sometimes there could be a QRcode that, when scanned, will lead you to the dedicated online page.
In the car parks the rates are specified near the entrance of the building or near the self-checkout machine.
What are the different payment methods?
Usually there are multiple methods available, that are listed on site. Some of them are:
– payment at the parking meter with cash or card;
– apps for smartphone and tablet;
– self-checkout machines;
– subscription / pass (request has to be made in advance).

I paid with an app. Do I have to display something?
No, the payment is dematerialized. Be sure you entered the correct license plate and area number in the app or the payment wouldn’t be detected.
The parking meter is temporary out of order. How can I pay?
Reach the nearest parking meter, if there is one, or use another method of payment ( listed on the parking meter or on the vertical signs). If none of these solutions is available, please contact our operators (0423.601755).
Any fine related to the absence of payment won’t be cancelled of you haven’t followed the previous instructions.
The parking meter hasn’t printed the ticket. What do I have to do?
Verify if the ticket is stuck inside the flap. If it’s not, please contact our operators at 0423.601755.
If I move my vehicle to a different area, can I still use my ticket if it’s still valid?
The different areas, even if they’re in the same city, can have different rates. If the rate is identical and there are no restrictions written on the ticket, it is possible to use it until it expires.
DISCOUNTS
I have an electric / hybrid car, can I park for free?
Every city can define if there are discounts / gratuity for electric or hybrid cars. For more information please write an email to parcheggi@abacospa.it or check the dedicated pages in our website (www.abacosmartcities.it/smartcities).
I have a disabled badge. Can I park for free?
Disabled people who owns a disabled badge can always park for free in on-street blue parking lots if the disabled parking lots are full. To do that, it is mandatory to expose the badge. If there is any abuse, there will be a fine.
For car parks you need to verify what the rules say.
REFUNDS
I’ve made an error while buying the ticket, can I have a refund?
It is not possible to ask for a refund if there is a wrong selection of the duration of the stop / of the type of vehicle that will be parked (car / camper / bike), if there’s the need to buy a second ticket due to a wrong insertion of the license plate in the first one, if the ticket has been lost. If the error is different from the ones listed, please write an email to parcheggi@abacospa.it, attaching a photo of the ticket and explaining what happened.
I’ve bought a ticket with card at the parking meter and I’ve found two charges in my bank account. What can I do?
It is possible that due to connection issues the first attempt isn’t approved but the second one is, but there are two charges in the bank account. Please wait a few days before writing us because the bank should automatically refund you the amount of the first attempt. If it’s not like that, write us an email ( parcheggi@abacospa.it ) with the proof of the two payments and the ticket to have a refund.
I wrote to have a refund but I still don’t have the accreditation in my bank account. What should I do?
Every request of refund needs to be accompanied by all the documents that proof the request, an ID, the IBAN code and the name of the owner of the back account. All these documents need to be sent by email at parcheggi@abacospa.it. The refund will happen within 60 days from the request.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
I live / work in the city. Are there any facilitation?
Any facilitation is defined by the municipality. The facilitation can be consulted in the website www.abacospa.it/ – MODULISTICA (where you can download all the forms available) or in the website www.abacomobility.it – SMARTICITIES.
How can I ask for a subscription?
Each form is customized for a different subscription and contains all the information and rules in the dedicated section. It’s better to ask for a subscription at least 15 days in advance, starting from the day we want it to start.
Every subscription has a physical signage?
No, the majority of the subscription is dematerialized. If the subscription is correlated by a physical signage, in the form you will find all the instructions about the withdrawal and the exposition.
I have a subscription but I changed my vehicle. What should I do?
You can contact us at 0423.601755 to receive information about the procedure to switch the licence plate related to the subscription.
FINES
I’ve been sanctioned. How can I proceed with the payment?
The methods of payment are written on the fine. The beneficiary is the Local Police Department, that you can contact if you need any information related to the payment of the fine.
I’ve paid but I received a fine. What can I do?
Before contesting the fine, verify that the payment fulfills all the requirements. If everything is ok, please write to parcheggi@abacospa.it describing what happened so we can do all the required checks. Please add the photo of the fine and any other related document to the email.
I’ve been sanctioned but I lost my fine / I can’t read my fine. Can I have a copy of it?
To get a copy of the fine please contact the Police Department of the city it has been emitted.
Can I appeal after receiving a fine?
The verification notice that our parking auxiliary emit doesn’t have legal value, so you can’t appeal. To appeal, you need to wait for the official contestation verbal that will be sent at your address and that has all the information about the appeal procedure.
OTHER
How to recognize the parking auxiliary? What to they do?
The parking auxiliary it’s a public official that has the role to prevent bad behaviours and emit fines if there’s a violation of the Highway Code. You can recognize them thanks to the uniform and they all have an ID card exposed.
